It's Singapore Time! Singapore will be swinging this year when the 2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix hits. This is the only Formula 1 night race in the entire world -- an after-dark high-speed chase through exotic and glamorous Singapore.

And you could go, FREE, just by submitting an original video entry to the Singapore F1 Season Video Contest - "City of the Night" telling why you think the Singapore racing season is so good and why this one is "more than just a race." Explain the importance, thrill or unique nature of the event to you, and you can win your own Grand Prix experience in September.

The Grand Prix experience is more than just a race, too. There's rock and soul bands (Travis, Chaka Khan, Yousou N'Dour and more) for the F1 Rocks Singapore event, and by being there you'll experience "Asia On The Edge," a showcase of Asian-centric activities and food and fashions and arts in with theater acts and performers roaming around.

Besides the night race, ticketholders can also catch more action off the track. Rock band Travis, soul-queen Chaka Khan, international sensation Backstreet Boys, world-music maestro Youssou N’Dour as well as top DJs Carl Cox and John Digweed are just some of the artistes that forms this year’s exciting entertainment line-up. Large-scale theatre acts Cie des Quidams’ Herbert’s Dream, Strange Fruit and countless other roving performances are also set to take the circuit park entertainment to another level.

There will even be an appearance by IL DIVO and their high tech stage and light show backing their operatic voices.

From September 25 to 27, that'll all happen at the 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

Winners whose videos are chosen can get up to SGD$3000 in cash plus tickets (if you're a Singapore resident or citizen), and if you're a traveler you'll get race tickets, three nights in a hotel, and air fare on Singapore Airlines -- so you can get there and see all this live.
