Taking A Bite Out of Identity Theft

Okay, I'm a sucker for an easy joke. But when I read that Lifelock is teaming up with dentists in Tennessee to protect identities from theft, that was my first reaction.

My second reaction was I need to become a dentist, because they are getting the benefits of Lifelock. You know Lifelock -- it's that company whose CEO gives out his social security number on national TV; he's bold. I'm so worried about identity theft that I not only don't write down important numbers, I don't even remember them.

That's where Lifelock can help, as the dentists know. The Tennessee Dental Association is the latest group to sign its members up for protection by one of the industry's leaders. Lifelock protects people that well, by placing fraud alerts on credit files, removing members' names from junk mail lists, and more.

They don't just promise -- they guarantee, to the tune of a cool $1 million buckaroos if they screw up. Anyone who puts a million bucks behind their promise has to be pretty sure, and they are.

They're adding benefits all the time -- they can now protect you from phony address changes, for example.

Be like a Tennesse dentist (not the first time you've heard that, right?) and protect your identity using lifelock.

P.S.-- Lifelock's hiring right now. Think you've got what it takes to stand up to identity thieves? Click that link and apply for a job.
